PS4/720? Rumours or truth

Been looking through stuff online - mainly rumours about the next generation...

PS4 and xBox 720...

How much truth do you think is in them? It is true that Activision and Treyarch have BOTH hired people to work on a game that sounds a lot like Black Ops 2 on "the next generation".

Really hoping PS4 gets released this year/start of 2013... and that Beach head 'forget' to update Elite for it =p

The next consoles will not be released this year. I think it is too soon. There is plenty of life left in the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Thats what I think anyways.

yeh sony have already stated that the ps4 wont be out this year, tbh neither will the '720'. But apparently it will be shown at E3 in June. I think we may see new xbox at the earliest back end of 2013. Black Ops 2 (as its known) will be released nov 12th. Its been listed on recent aamazon sites from different countries. But we all know that COD's are on 2 year cycles between treyarch n infinity ward so we no theres going to be a new one at the end of the year anyway!
I think they'd have a very small team working on the next gen game but the rest of them working on the current gen game.

That's a shame, I was kind of looking forward to something new...

But then again, with the anti-piracy stuff in PS3 already... you just know PS4 will probably follow with xBox against used games aswell =[
